About Us

We’re a new business backed by years of experience. Our owner, Don Samford, spent over 14 years in the sign industry, learning the ropes of design and installation. With a background in construction and a lifelong passion for art, joining the sign world was a natural fit for him.

When the previous owner retired, Don and some friends who own Strait Floors decided to join forces and open shop together. Since opening our doors on September 1st, 2022, we’ve been thrilled with how our first year has gone. We’ve already begun expanding our business, investing in top-of-the-line equipment like the Roland TrueVis Inkjet commercial printer. We’re proud to be the only sign/print shop on the North Peninsula with this technology. Additionally, we offer custom shirts and hoodies using hand screen printing and direct to garment printing with our Roland Ri1000.

Our designs are crafted with vibrant imagination using tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and many of our shirt designs are AI-generated. The owners have set ambitious goals for STRAIT SIGNS, and we’re incredibly excited about what the future holds. As we continue to expand, we’ll keep you updated on all our products and future offerings.

At STRAIT SIGNS, we offer a variety of services, including aluminum signs, real estate signs on corrugated plastic, backlit signs, polycarbonate sign faces, car vinyls, vehicle vinyl wraps, and all sorts of branded merchandise like hats, beanies, shirts, hoodies, and jackets.
